History
Time Out Nigeria was first produced in 2007 by Lexan Media Services Ltd (publisher Toke Ibru) and has become, in addition to enjoying the reputation attached to its parent brand Time Out - the best entertainment and listings brand both in print publishing and websites - also a cohesive information publication in support of Nigeria's image management. We went that extra mile, and our main philosophy for Time Out Nigeria is to use it as a medium to promote Nigeria's traditional and modern culture, as well as its business and corporate culture - via its advertisers and branding partners - to the world.
The brand
Time Out is an International Brand, currently celebrating 40 years. It is instantly recognisable and continually expanding worldwide including an annual edition in Nigeria, a comprehensive guide for those living in Nigeria, the expat community, for Nigerians in the Diaspora, tourists, visitors and foreign investors. The publication has been endorsed by the Presidency, the Federal Ministry of Information and Communications, the Federal Ministry of Tourism Culture and National Orientation, as well as the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation.

Not only will we be continuing our first trial series Time Out Nigeria for Visitors, we have also been offered a new license under which we can produce a Time Out Lagos publication, a Time Out Accra publication, special supplements and custom publishing as well as the option to venture into the Benin Republic, the Sene-Gambia region (Senegal and Gambia) and Mali.
